What I have learned this year “Extended Play”

We have all heard “Idle Hands are the devil's workshop.” Does that platitude extend to idle Minds? My mind is never in idle unless I make a concentrated effort to put it there

Picture of a line of thought... a literal line.  On the far left is someone who never thinks (adolescent boys maybe). At the midpoint is people who think about what they say, do or post,  before doing anything. My brain is on the extreme right. Don't for a second think I am calling myself a genius. A genius doesn't ponder Elmer Fudd’s ancestry (the big headed guy on Bugs Bunny). I'm always thinking, self-examining and pondering.

As a result of some recent adversity, I spent some time in prayer, deep thought, and reading, concerning body language and facial expressions (mine in particular). I have developed an acronym for what I hope will guide me in future meetings and conversations.

Forgive the  cattywampus cropping

The only one on the list that on which I don't need to work is eye-contact. Lynne says I'm an intense listener and speaker because I make maintain eye contact. You've heard it said before “the eyes are the window to the soul”? I don't know what that means. I do know that eye contact show engagement and interest when listening or speaking to someone.

I'm providing a link to the article I read if you want the foundations for my acronym. Did you ever notice Woody Woodpecker never built a nest? Just thinking...
